Singer Ayda Jebat plans to collaborate with regional acts to further strengthen her fanbase

KUALA LUMPUR: Following her Social Media Icon award win at the recent Anugerah Planet Muzik 2017 (APM 2017), singer Ayda Jebat plans to work with artistes from the neighbouring countries.

The 25-year-old artiste, who is also an actress, is hopeful that collaborations between countries will strengthen her fanbase in countries like Indonesia and Singapore.

In a recent news report, the Pencuri Hati singer said that winning the award at APM 2017 (an awards show that honours artistes from Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore), has opened her eyes to new career advancement possibilities.

“In Malaysia, we are familiar with notable singers such as Krisdayanti, Rossa, Afgan and Cakra Khan for example, but the truth is there are many more less recognised but talented artistes in the region whom I’d like to work with.

“If given the chance to work with acts from Indonesia or Singapore, I would make sure to use the opportunity wisely and give my best,” she said. s
