KUALA LUMPUR: Popular actor and host, Zizan Razak was believed to have been hurt after executing an action sequence during the filming of Polis Evo 2 yesterday.
The 33-year-old star, whose real name is Mohd Razizan Abdul Razak, shared the unfortunate news on his Instagram account @zizanrazak869, which featured a picture of him lying on a mattress while receiving assistance.
Accompanying the post, Zizan wrote: "So my advice to all is, please don’t pirate or illegally record (the upcoming film) because it is really not easy to make a film. Today, I hurt myself doing an action scene. Please pray for my speedy recovery."
In the post, which he uploaded last night, Zizan did not elaborate on the actual severity of his injury. But his inclusion of #kitaok was taken to mean that the actor did not sustain anything serious.
The photo also saw two personnel from the Fire and Rescue Department massaging Zizan’s arm and leg, while several members from the production team looked on.
Aside from Zizan, the highly-anticipated action film, which is directed by Joel Soh, also stars Shaheizy Sam, Raline Shah, Erra Fazira and Hairul Azreen.
The post drew many comments from fans and fellow artistes, who conveyed their well wishes for the actor to have a quick recovery.
