KUALA LUMPUR: Looks like popular actor and host Zizan Razak has managed to garner many well wishes for his speedy recovery after injuring himself during the filming of an action scene for Polis Evo 2.
A post on his Instagram account of the unfortunate incident two days ago had already accumulated over 170,000 likes and received more than 3,000 comments.
What’s really interesting to note was that one of the comments had come from, none other than the Prime Minister of Malaysia himself, Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
Going by the handle @najib_razak, he wrote: Get well soon Zizan. Saya doakan cepat sembuh, kembali kejar penjenayah dalam Polis Evo 2.
This is not the first time Zizan has had an encounter with the PM. On Nov 9 the actor posted a picture of himself with Najib on his Instagram account during the launch of Malaysia Social Media Week 2017.
During the event, Najib presented the 2017 Social Media Icon Award to the 33-year-old star, whose real name is Mohd Razizan Abdul Razak.
Polis Evo 2, a highly-anticipated action movie sequel to the 2015 box office hit, is directed by Joel Soh and stars Shaheizy Sam, Raline Shah, Erra Fazira and Hairul Azreen.
