Singer-actress Ayda Jebat learned acting from Fauziah Ahmad Daud

KUALA LUMPUR: As preparation for her first main role in a feature film, Pinjamkan Hatiku, young Ayda Jebat considers herself lucky to be guided by veteran actress Fauziah Ahmad Daud a.k.a Ogy.

“She's one of local actresses whom I look up to. When I had the chance to be in her acting class, of course I didn't want to waste the opportunity to learn as much as possible from her," said the 25-year-old female lead of the movie which premiered yesterday.

“Prior to the class, I was a little worried on how to play the character Laila Safitri.

“But with Kak Ogy’s guidance and tips, I had more confidence to play the role as best as I could. Hopefully fans would love my acting in the movie," said Ayda in a recent news report.

Meanwhile, Ogy said she was impressed with Ayda's performance and commitment.

Besides Ayda, the class conducted by Ogy was also attended by the rest of the cast of the romantic movie directed by Osman Ali.
