Magician Cosentino set to enchant Asia

IT’S always fun to watch magicians or illusionists who are always ahead of their game and keep surprising us with their tricks.

Hailed as Australia’s most successful magician, illusionist and escapologist, Cosentino is set to mesmerise Asian audiences with a four-part series, themed around the four elements of earth, wind, fire and water.

AXN has teamed up with Cosentino to create the latest original production, The Elements: Cosentino, that fuses riveting and mystifying illusions in relatable, local settings.

“I had such an incredible experience filming this series in Asia,” the 35-year-old magician, whose full name is Paul Cosentino, told the New Straits Times recently.

Filmed between September and October last year, viewers will get to see him performing street magic and epic stunts against iconic backdrops in Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines and Taiwan.

Celebrity appearances in each of the episodes include Asia’s Got Talent’s Alan Wong and Justin Bratton; Singaporean actor Datuk Aaron Aziz, Tabitha Nauseur and Sezairi; Malaysia’s Datin Diana Danielle, Juliana Evans and Joe Flizzow; the Philippines’ Alex Gonzaga, Bianca King, Marc Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez; and Taiwan’s Alex Niu and Ozi.

The Elements: Cosentino will premiere on Jan 18 at 9pm exclusively on AXN.
