NUR Fazura Sharifuddin and Bront Palarae made their Malaysian fans proud of their performance in Indonesia’s hit religious-romantic movie Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2, but it seems the movie’s Indonesian cast think highly of the duo too.
Chelsea Islan, who plays Keira, Tatjana Saphira as Hulya, and Fedi Nuril as Fahri, had nothing but good things to say about Fazura and Bront’s performance.
“Fazura just lights up the room with her presence and she’s such a professional while on set, making filming a breeze.
“I love that she is a friendly and outgoing person, and that she instantly clicked with everyone on set. If given the chance, I would like to work with her again,” said Tatjana at an interview in Kuala Lumpur recently.
Agreeing with Tatjana, Chelsea said it was a pleasant experience working with them.
“Fazura and Bront are really talented and extremely dedicated to the project. I got to spend time with them, especially with Bront while on tour to promote the film and it gave us the opportunity to bond beyond the film set and share our different working cultures, so that was fun.”
Fedi complimented Bront and Fazura’s capability in delivering a good performance and leaving an impact on the viewers through their characters.
“It was impactful acting by them. It was really a pleasure having them join the cast,” he said, adding that the two had inspired him to spread his wings to work in Malaysian productions in the near future.
