'Yuna makes my brother happy'

INDONESIA-BASED actor Ashraf Sinclair is glad that his youngest sibling, Adam, has found his soulmate in Malaysia’s favourite international star, Yunalis Zara’ai.

“Yuna is a lovely girl. The love that she and Adam have for each other is beautiful, and she makes him very happy. We’re more than thrilled to welcome her into our family,” said Ashraf  in Sri Kembangan recently.

Yuna and Adam, who were engaged on Aug 5 last year, are set to hold their wedding reception tomorrow at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre.

They tied the knot in a private solemnization ceremony yesterday,

“The best part about weddings is we get to see two families come together, and that’s something I enjoy being a part of,” said the 38-year-old artiste.

Ashraf, who is back in town for the wedding, is currently busy promoting Astro’s original drama series, Dosa, which he stars in.

Dosa is a dark, action drama that follows the story of four siblings whose lives revolve around learning and practising silat, a form of martial art, taught by their single father, Latif (played by Datuk M. Nasir).

The story sees a twist when Latif’s  only daughter, Fara (Shenty Fezliana), runs away from home after meeting an Indonesian man named Arian (Reuben Elishama), causing a family conflict.  Remy Ishak and Hisyam Hamid also star in the eight-episode series.

Dosa is available on Astro First beginning Feb 14.
