KUALA LUMPUR: Running Man star Lee Kwang Soo is set to act in an upcoming drama which revolves around the lives of police officers at Hongil Patrol Division who work day and night to protect citizens and uphold the law.
The drama entitled Live, sheds light on the real and sometimes humorous stories of people in uniform.
According to a news report by Soompi, Lee plays Yeom Sang Soo, a rookie officer who causes trouble to his co-workers. He joined the police force to make a living rather than a sense of duty. He becomes flustered when he finds that being a police officer is not a glamorous job, but his passion to do his best helps him rise in his career.
Television station TVN has just released photos of Lee dressed in a police officer’s uniform. Looking all serious, the photos show him inspecting drunk drivers.
A statement from the station said: "Yeom Sang Soo is a young man who wants to live well and becomes a police officer. Lee Kwang Soo is perfect for the role.”
