Fazura, 34, was commenting on claims by Netizens that a fellow celebrity, who is an entrepreneur and television host, made a snide Instagram post aimed at Fazura.
“If there is provocation from anyone, I prefer not to respond. I do not respond to negativity. I prefer to focus on myself and what matters to me.
“We do not know other people’s intention when they make such a remark or posting, so it is better for me not to react or pay attention to it.”
When asked about her false eyelashes collection called #befaz, a name akin to another fashion line by a celebrity, Fazura said it was coincidental.
“My team and I had been working on this line for about a year. It is unfortunate that we launched it later compared with the other brand.
“But, it is not an issue. If there is another product with the same concept and a similar-sounding name, who am I to stop it? If I could become an inspiration to others, why not?”
Besides, she said, copying was the best form of flattery.
