KUALA LUMPUR: Entrepreneur-turned-singer Datuk Seri Dr Hasmiza Othman’s new single, Lavida Raya, released last Friday, quickly became the top trending tune within 24 hours on Malaysia’s YouTube.
“Saya lancar lagu Raya saya kat bilik Kacak jer... disaksikan oleh 100 ribu fans saya... TQ sayang.. Selalu support & doakan saya...” wrote the 46-year-old on her Instagram.

Vida said that the new single, composed by Cat Farish, with lyrics by Mohd Hilmi, was released complete with an accompanying music video, is specially released for the coming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration.
Besides her two children Cik B and Kacak, Vida had also rounded up dancers, friends and staff to star in the music video, which was filmed at her resident in Ipoh, Perak.

Vida also promised her fans and followers to give away RM100 worth of goodies and stuff from her private collection to a lucky winner everyday for a week from the day the song was launched.
To win the prizes, fans only had to share the music video on social media with the hashtag #lavidaraya, complete with a comment which will catch her attention.
