KUALA LUMPUR: Ever since popular actor Fattah Amin expanded his career in the music industry, his reputation as an actor-turned-singer has not been too favourable since many claimed that singing isn’t exactly his great skill.
But things are looking up for the 28-year-old husband of actress Nur Fazura when his recently-released Raya single Syawal Kali Ini appeared to attract more positive feedback than negative ones.
The mellow tune was written and composed by Mel Ramlan together with Aizat Amdan.
Many were impressed by his voice when he performed the “takbir raya” at the beginning of the song.
An Instagram user said: “Best! Time Fattah takbir tu” (Nice! Especially the takbir part)
Another user said: “Aku puji Fattah Amin sebab dia buat lagu yang tak lari lagu raya irama irama Melayu zaman dulu” ( I respect that Fattah Amin’s song doesn’t move away from the classic Malay Raya tunes).
