NST's 10 Quickies with Sangeeta Krishnasamy [NSTTV]

Actress Sangeeta Krishnasamy joins NST's 10 Quickies this week.

The 32-year old marked her first venture into mainstream Malaysian cinema with the movie Adiwiraku.

The drama, based on the real-life experience of rural schoolteacher Cheryl Ann Fernando, won Best Film at the 29th Malaysian Film Festival last year.

Not only that, Sangeetha bagged the Best Actress award despite her status as a newcomer and Adiwiraku being her first Malay language film.

She also won an Anugerah Skrin award and The Kuala Lumpur Film Critics award for the role, making her the first Indian and actress to win all three awards in the same year.

In 2015, she was recognised as one of the top actresses of Malaysian Tamil Cinema after winning the best actress in movie and telemovie awards at the Malaysian Kalai Ulagam Award.

In her Quickies session, Sangeeta speaks about what inspires her to move forward.

She also talks about her fear of water, favourite food and preferred movie genre.

Sangeeta also gives a short rendition of her favourite song to her fans.
