SHAH ALAM: As singer-actress Ziana Zain adjusts to her new life following her divorce to ex-husband Armin Zaharin Ahmad Zambri recently, her good pal and fellow actress Erra Fazira believes Ziana is strong enough to move on from this emotional phase.
“She’s not alone in dealing with this. She’s surrounded by loved ones who are there to support her," she said when met at Mind Order Hari Raya open house at Kach’e Wedding & Event Space recently.
Erra said it was not an easy decision for Ziana to walk away from a marriage of 20 years, but she did what she felt was the right thing to do.
“Let’s respect her decision and not make assumptions as we are not in her shoes,” said Erra who is also a single mother.
That being said, she hopes that the public will pray for Ziana’s happiness.
“Everyone deserves to find happiness. Ziana knows what’s best for her and her kids so let’s just pray for the best,” she said.
Last Thursday, Ziana who is popular for tunes like Kemelut Di Muara Kasih divorced from Armin with a single “talak” at the Syariah Lower Court in Shah Alam.
They have four children — Muhammad Aiman, 18, Muhammad Ammar, 14, and nine-year-old fraternal twins Muhammad Ariel and Siti Nur Kaseh.
