KUALA LUMPUR: Veteran actress Fauziah Nawi has commended actress-TV host Janna Nick for her splendid hosting at the 31st Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian (ABPBH 31) last Sunday.
The 65-year-old multi-talented artiste took to Instagram to express her thoughts on the young starlet.
She wrote: “Ingin mengucapkan tahniah kpd @jannanick salah seorang dari tiga host. Janna tidak memegang cue card dan tuturnya begitu yakin. Saya percaya Janna telah menghafal turutan programme. Tahniah dan keep up the good work.” (I’d like to congratulate Janna Nick, one of the co-hosts at the ABPBH31. Janna did not hold any cue cards but she gave a confident delivery. I believe she had memorised the programme’s flow. Congratulations and keep up the good work.)
The 23-year-old Janna must have been flattered to be praised by an experienced industry player like Fauziah.
She replied to the posting with: “Ya Allah ibu.. terima kasih ya amat... will improve more.”
To that, Fauziah responded: “There’s always room for improvement. It pays to memorise the text given. It pays to be focused. All the best girl.”
At the event which was held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre and broadcast live on TV3, Janna was one of the co-hosts at the awards show. She was joined by comedian Ajak Shiro and actress Zara Zya.
