KUALA LUMPUR: Gol & Gincu Vol. 2 will alway have a special place in actress Nadiya Nisaa’s heart.
The film which is currently screening in cinemas stars Nadiya and her two siblings in the cast.
Even though the sisters do not share a scene together, the 33-year-old artiste said it would forever be one memorable film outing for them.
While Nadiya’s elder sister Min Luna is a well-known fashion stylist, many do not know her lesser-known younger sister, Aida who plays the supporting role named Cinonet in the coming-of-age movie.
In a recent posting on her Instagram, Nadiya uploaded a screengrab of her younger sister Aida in a scene from the movie and wrote a caption which briefly describes their close relationship.
It reads: “Thank you #GolGincu2 for giving me one emotional ride. From joy to tears, inspiring to kepochi, and the film definitely capture the exact taste of sisterhood... I never listen to my sister. I never take her opinion seriously. Most of the time I will show my support & encouragement but not full-heartedly. I sent her to the audition for Gol & Gincu but secretly wish she will not get the part. Because I’ve experienced the industry. It’s ugly. And I want to protect her.”
