#Showbiz: 'Stop spreading lies about us' — Fazura

KUALA LUMPUR: Popular actress Nur Fazura Sharifuddin claims that there have been attempts by certain quarters to create a rift between her and her actor husband Fattah Amin via fake social media accounts using the couple’s identities.

The 35-year-old artiste revealed that these fake accounts were used to create confusion and conflict between Fattah and her.

“At first, they came out with a fake Instagram account supposedly belonging to Fattah.

“Based on information received from our fans, the account is linked to certain activities which were conflicting with Fattah’s routine which he constantly shares on social media.

“When I found out about it, the account was deleted; only to be replaced by another, this time ‘belonging’ to me.

“And through that account, they pretended to be me, leaving negative comments on other celebrities’ accounts that are not even in the list I follow,” she said in a news report today, commenting on the issue which she had highlighted on her Insta-story recently.

Although the handsome couple are not too affected by such provocations, Fazura said the culprits should instead focus their attention on their favourite artistes, rather than waste their time creating conflict between her and Fattah.

“My husband and I have forgiven them... but there is no need to continue spreading lies about us after this,” she said.
