KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Nina Iskandar suffered a fractured backbone and an injury to her lips in a collision with two other vehicles here last night.
In a news report today, her co-star in the drama Setelah Cinta Itu Pergi, Amyza Aznan said that her car was ‘wrecked beyond repair’ in the accident.
“Nina’s car was totally lost! It was a head-on collision, one car stopped and the other drove away,” said Amyza.
Nina, 27, took to Instagram and posted an Insta-story that she was “going to be OK”, thanking fans for their concern and prayers.
“Thank you so much for your prayers. I’ve torn my lips and fractured my backbone. The stitches will be removed in a week.
“My mother is here to look after me and I’ll be getting follow-up treatment back home in Brunei,” said the Brunei-born artiste.
Nina, whose real name is Nur Akmalina Iskandar, has been acting since 2011, and starred in movies Muka Surat Cinta, Lu, Gua, Bro! and Pengantin Malam.
Her television dramas include Andainya Takdir, Mr Tanda Soal, Cinta Bukan Kristal and Isteri Dalam Sangkar.
