KUALA LUMPUR: Sharing a photo of a baby romper that says ‘I love mom & dad’ laid next to a sonogram, and a caption that read ‘Syukur Alhamdulillah’ on her Instagram today, it is safe to assume that actress Izreen Azminda is pregnant.
The post quickly garnered much attention, however no comments were posted as the 32-year-old artiste had long disabled the comment box.
Later, her husband Ude Wahid, a freelance musician confirmed the baby news via his Instagram page, after sharing a photo of the mom-to-be cradling her baby bump.
“Alhamdulillah.. rezeki 2019.. doakan smg (semoga) mama n baby sihat selalu… Amin.” (Alhamdulillah, our rezeki for 2019.. please pray for mom and baby’s health.”
The post garnered a stream of comments from fans and followers who congratulated the couple.
In 2017, Izreen and Ude were heavily criticised following news that Ude had taken Izreen as his second wife in August that year in a private ceremony, without informing his then first wife, Intan Liana Saleh.
In March last year, Ude divorced Intan with a single “talak”.
Ude has two sons, Arish Muqri, 4, and Ariq Murqi, 2, from his marriage with Intan, while Izreen has a son Adrian Umar, 5, from her previous marriage to Muhamad Riza Baharuddin.
