KUALA LUMPUR: Popular singer Misha admits having received a Direct Message (DM) from an individual known as Zahar or Ahmad Azhar concerning the slander issue which the artiste has been accused of practising “black magic” on the night of Anugerah Juara Lagu ke-33 (AJL 33).
“I have received a DM from the individual, and I’ve replied to the person,” she said in a news report yesterday.
The DM came a day after the 37-year-old artiste held a press conference with her lawyers in tow.
She is taking several Netizens to task for making slanderous remarks against her on social media.
At the press conference, Misha had given the identified individuals seven days to apologise to her in person, failing which, they will face a lawsuit.
In a news report yesterday, Misha who won Best Vocal at the AJL 33, said: “I informed him that the lawyers engaged to assist me in this case will decide on the date for the meeting soon and we’re also waiting for the others to respond so that we could all meet all at the same time.”
She said that she had also asked Zahar to inform another individual, identified as @tg_muda1official.
According to Misha, Zahar told her that the other individual had agreed to meet her too.
“Tengku Muda sekali dengan saya Kak Mitch (Misha). Dia juga akan ada sekali waktu itu. Terima kasih Kak Mitch,” he wrote in his message to Misha.
It is expected that the meeting will take place soon.
