KUALA LUMPUR: South Korean singers Zico of Block B and BI of iKON have been “honoured” on an episode of popular American crime investigation series NCIS.
Entertainment portal Soompi reported today that their names cropped up on the popular drama series’ episode last Wednesday, where its special agents discussed the blood test analysis of a dead man.
After the team concluded that the man died of a drug overdose, Hayley (Ashley Liao) and Blake (Cedric Begley) chimed in with their knowledge of the lethal drug combination.
The duo shared what they had heard about the drug to Leroy Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and got a few suspicious looks from their fellow agents.
Blake said “But we’re not really into that kind of stuff” and Hayley added “Yeah, Zico and BI are more my vice.”
Gibbs then asked “The hell is that?” and Hayley replied “Seriously? It’s K-Pop”.
When he still did not get it, Hayley and Blake said “Tragic” in unison.
A video clip of the scene has gained traction on Twitter, and Liao said in a comment under it that she had “checked out” some of Zico’s and BI’s songs.
