#Showbiz: Yuna's European tour gets postponed... again

KUALA LUMPUR: Just a week shy from kicking off her European tour, singer-songwriter Yunalis Zara’ai says it is not happening.

Taking to social media, she announced the news of the postponement.

“Hey everyone, I have to regretfully announce that we have to move the European tour one more time.

“It was a VERY difficult decision to make, I want nothing more than to go to Europe to see my fans, but I had a hard deadline to turn the album so we can have a summer release,” she wrote in her message for her fans and followers.

The 32-year-old said that this was the hardest she has had to work for an album as she wanted it to be perfect.

“I really can’t wait to share it with you guys.. it is sounding amazing,” she added.

This is the second time Yuna’s European tour had to be rescheduled.

It was previously reported that the Crush singer was scheduled to tour Europe in November last year. However, the dates for that tour had to be pushed forward to this year — March 26 to March 30, and then on April 1 across London, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland and Germany.

Yuna also advised her fans to stay tuned for updates from the concert promoters regarding their purchased tickets and apologised for the trouble caused.

“I’m so sorry for the inconvenience. But I promise you it’s for the best.”

Many were left divided over the news as some expressed their disappointment that Yuna had cancelled the tour for the second time, while others assured her that it was fine and that they couldn’t wait for the release of the new album.

Another follower@robinveldhuizen said: “Whether or not you got a ‘deadline’ or are not satisfied with the sound of the album yet. This is not how you as an artist should treat fans. Postponed again, and just a week before the show. You can record music all around the world. But ey just postpone again. Refuuund!!”
