#Showbiz: Dato Shake's Dec 16 concert postponed

KUALA LUMPUR: Veteran singer Dato Shake or Datuk Sheikh Abdullah Sheikh Ahmad's Dec 16 concert in Zepp KL, Jalan Hang Tuah here has been postponed.

In Tour Live Events, the organiser of the France-based singer's concert apologised to ticket-holders for the postponement which was due to unforeseen circumstances.

"We apologise to all ticket-holders for the postponement of Dato Shake Live At Zepp KL which was supposed to be held on Dec 16 due to unforeseen circumstances. We will announce a new date later," said In Tour in a statement yesterday.

In Tour also announced that ticket-holders who wanted refunds could call Ticketcharge at 03-92228811.

Dato Shake, 73, was supposed to entertain fans in a two-hour concert at 8pm on Dec 16.

The Johor Baru-born singer found fame as a singer in France back in 1973, and still lives in the French capital, Paris.

He is in the midst of completing an autobiography in Malay, having finished the English and French versions recently.
