KUALA LUMPUR: Heartthrob actor Syafiq Kyle says that he is willing to accept it if he is fated to marry a prostitute.
“If it’s my jodoh (with a prostitute), I have to accept. Prostitutes are also human beings who want to love and be loved just like everyone else.
“Who am I to label or judge them. At the end of the day we are all human beings with flaws,” he said when met at the launch of the Season 2 of TV3’s hit drama series Nur at Kompleks Kraf Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
The 26-year-old artiste whose full name is Mohd Syafiq Shamim Abdul Razak, was commenting on the scenario which the popular drama series Nur is based on, in which he plays the character Ustaz Adam, a preacher who marries a prostitute named Nur (played by Amyra Rosli).
Others in the cast include Azhan Rani, Noorkhiriah, Datuk Jalaluddin Hassan, Fatimah Abu Bakar, Azar Ami, Raja Atiq and Eyra Hazali.
The Islamic-themed drama comes on air from Mondays till Thursdays at 10pm.
