KUALA LUMPUR: Police have arrested a musician for allegedly trespassing his ex-wife’s house.
He is also a former talk show host and the former head of a telecommunications company.
In a news report today, a source close to the case said that the police were investigating him under Section 448 of the Penal Code.
He was arrested between 5.30pm and 7pm yesterday for questioning at the Hulu Klang Police Station.
The father of three was alleged to have broken the front door of his ex-wife’s house and issued her a death threat following a verbal spat between them.
The spat ended after a security guard intervened.
He is reported to have a history of drug and domestic abuse problems.
Selangor CID chief Senior Assistant Commissioner Fadzil Ahmat confirmed the arrest.
“Yes there is such a case. It was for trespassing,” he said.
He will be remanded for four days to assist investigations.
