KUALA LUMPUR: Actor Sharnaaz Ahmad is adamant about not disclosing the status of his marriage publicly, even though his wife Noor Nabila Mohd Noor had recently told the Press that the couple had mutually agreed to get a divorce.
The 33-year-old actor said this was because he wanted to avoid making statements which could later be miscontrued as offensive to any party.
“I just don’t want to make it any worse than it already is by commenting further. I’d rather keep quiet than find out later that my comment had offended anyone in the family.
“This situation would never end, if I keep on commenting to the media,” Sharnaaz was quoted in a recent news report.
Sharnaaz said that he would rather leave everything to the lawyers to settle.
The couple married on March 31, 2017 and have a one-year-old son, Jebat Jayden.
