KUALA LUMPUR: After 38 years in show business, legendary rock singer Amy of Search fame, Suhaimi Abdul Rahman is proud to donate his personal items as part of Hard Rock Hotel’s collection of rock-and-roll memorabilia.
In an Instagram post yesterday, the 61-year-old artiste shared a photo of his costume and a microphone stand which were part of Amy’s Jelajah Fenomena 30 Tahun Search concert in 2011.
The items are now on display at the popular cafe and hotel chain in Desaru Coast in Johor.
“Alhamdulillah after 38 years... this is an epic moment. Since my first visit to a HRC outlet and seeing the memorabilia of famous artistes on the wall, I’ve been dreaming of seeing my stuff being displayed at the chain too,” he wrote in the caption accompanying the photo.
He also expressed his gratitude to the hotel for making his dream come true.
Amy also said that the icing on the cake was the exhibits were displayed at the hotel chain in Johor, which is also his home state.
