KUALA LUMPUR: Popular singer Dayang Nurfaizah created history when tickets for her Feb 20 concert scheduled at Istana Budaya were all snapped up in 15 minutes.
It even broke her own record of two hours for her Dayang Dua Dekad concert last July 21.
Pleasantly surprised by the overwhelming response, the 38-year-old artiste said: “I don’t think I was the main reason why the tickets were sold out that fast. I believe it’s more of my collaborator for the concert, which is popular fashion designer Datuk Rizalman Ibrahim,” she said in a news report yesterday.
On top of Dayang’s performance, audience will also get to check out the designer’s latest collection which will be paraded by models during the concert.
The concert-cum-fashion show will see the Sarawak-born songstress performing 10 classical numbers. The song list is yet to be finalised as Dayang and Rizalman are in the midst of choosing suitable songs for the concert.
