#Showbiz: Hollywood actor gives Hairul Azreen 'double high five'

KUALA LUMPUR: The star of the movie Wira, Hairul Azreen, is obviously excited when a Hollywood actor and martial artist Mark Dacascos commented on his Instagram post yesterday.

Although the comment was nothing more than emojis (showing images of fire, double highfive and love) to congratulate Hairul and his co-star Yayan Ruhian, it was enough to make the 31-year-old artiste to screen capture it and shared it with his fans and followers today.

In the caption, Hairul Azreen wrote: “Guys @dacascosmark comment film Wira guys !!!!!! Dua orang pelakon John Wick 3 !!! Fuhhhhhh lagenda film.”

Hawaii-born Dacascos, 55, was the lead actor in the 1993 film Only The Strong, in which he played Capoeira master Louis who takes a high school's potential failures and turning their lives around by teaching them the Brazilian martial art.

His other films include Code Name: The Cleaner; Roger Corman's Operation Rogue; Cradle 2 The Grave; and John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.

Wira revolves around a retired commando named Hassan (played by Hairul) who returns home only to learn that his sister, Zainab (Fify Azmi), and father (Hilal Azman) are in deep trouble with the neighbourhood gangster Raja (Dain Said).

Wira, a co-production of MM Entertainment, Act 2 Pictures, and Astro Shaw, is currently showing in cinemas.
