#Showbiz: Tasha Shilla ties the knot, moves to Singapore

KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Tasha Shilla Razak is now married, and plans to follow her husband to the Lion City soon.

The 33-year-old star of Ratu The Movie, Klip 3GP and Epilog Cinta Khirana wed her fiance Muhammad Atiq Idris, also 33, at the Federal Territory Mosque in Jalan Duta here today.

Their solemnisation ceremony came five days after their engagement, and was attended by her father Abdul Razak Razali, family members and close friends. It was conducted by the mosque's imam Ehsan Mohd Hosni at 9.59am.

Tasha, whose real name is Natasha Sheila Abdul Razak received a diamond ring and mas kahwin (dowry) of RM800 from Muhammad Atiq.

In a news report today, Tasha said that she kept her two-month relationship with Muhammad Atiq under wraps as it was "too personal". They had known each other since December 2019.

"We had only known each other for a short time, yet our friendship turned to love and grew very quickly. Thank God I've met Mr Right, I feel so blessed and happy," said Tasha, adding that she was overjoyed when Muhammad Atiq proposed to her early this month.

Tasha said that she would be moving to Singapore with her husband, as he works in the banking and finance sector there.

Last Monday, the couple got engaged at a ceremony held in Damansara.

Muhammad Atiq said that he was supportive of her acting career.

“As long as she is mindful of her limitations and never forgets to pray five times a day, I’m alright with it,” said Muhammad Atiq, who sent his merisik entourage to meet with Tasha’s parents on Feb 1.
