KUALA LUMPUR: Young superhero Boboiboy and his band of merry friends are focussing their powers on battling Covid-19 with a special guest.
In a video clip released yesterday on the YouTube channel of Monsta, which produces the Boboiboy series and movies, the popular computer-animated characters can be seen taking advice from an onscreen version of health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
The 60-second public service announcement clip sees the computer-animated Dr Noor Hisham dishing out simple ways on how people can stay safe and avoid getting infected.
Boboiboy, Yaya, Ying, Gopal Kumar and Fang then further explain the sensible methods of prevention, practising good hygiene, complying with the standard operating procedures set by the authorities and for individuals to monitor their health before entering public places.
The short video, that also features a link to the World Health Organisation's website for the latest information on the coronavirus, has so far garnered close to 70,000 views and over 3,300 likes.
