KUALA LUMPUR: After 11 years of battling with cancer, South Korean actress Kim Bo-kyung succumbed to the disease last Monday. She was 44.
According to news reports, the remains of the actress were laid to rest in her hometown of Busan last Friday.
So far, neither her family members nor closest friends have released any statements with regards to her passing.
Kim, a graduate of Seoul Institute of the Arts, began her career in acting at the age of 22 with the film, Naked Being, in 1998.
She then stared in TV dramas in 2001 beginning with School 4.
The actress gained popularity after her roles as Kim In-yeong in the film The Epitaph, Kang Hee-jae in the drama Behind The White Tower and Kyoung-jin in The Day He Arrives.
