KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's YouTube cooking sensation S. Pavithra, 29, and her husband M. Sugu, 30, have re-emerged, with new cooking videos on their YouTube channel.
Fans welcomed their return to the channel after it was deactivated some five months ago.
They had also deleted almost all of their previous videos before disappearing from the platform.
The six new videos showed Pavithra cooking dishes like mutton briyani, kebab and sweet sour prawn, and one showing her frying some river fish freshly caught by Sugu.
"I was surprised to get notifications from your channel. Like many others, I was wondering what you two have been up to," commented one of the followers in the comment section of a video.
The pair found themselves thrusted into the limelight after their cooking videos went viral when the Movement Control Order (MCO) was first implemented last year.
But after a domestic abuse controversy in October last year, the duo shunned public attention.
