KUALA LUMPUR: Although speculation is rife on the impending nuptials between Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor and Haris Ismail a.k.a. PU Riz, the popular celebrity is keeping mum about the whole affair.
It's been hotly rumoured that Neelofa, 32, and Pu Riz, 26 would be having their solemnisation ceremony and wedding reception over the weekend at a grand hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
Talk that wedding bells could be ringing soon intensified yesterday after the famous celebrity and entrepreneur uploaded a post on Instagram cryptically calling for fans to pray for her in order for her affairs to run smoothly.
Although no official statement has been released with regards to a wedding, Netizens took it as a hint of her upcoming matrimony.
The accompanying picture to the entry also featured a collage of blurry photos with Neelofa trying on what seemed to be a white bridal gown.
It was also reported that one of the former MeleTop host's good friends, Shameela Seddek, had uploaded several pictures and a video in an Insta-story featuring a few of her friends in matching red dresses.
Although Neelofa is nowhere to be seen, the photos were believed to be taken in her room. The ladies were also busily seen to be preparing for something which only served to add to the rumours that a big ceremony was on the way.
Prior to this, an IG entry with a video on @lofa.page had featured PU Riz at an unidentified store trying on a traditional songket sampin which went viral. However, the video was deleted just a few hours after being uploaded yesterday.
Meanwhile, Pu Riz has been keeping mum as well without addressing any of the ongoing gossip with regards to the wedding.
Previously, the relationship between Neelofa and Pu Riz came into question after Netizen's noticed that she was not wearing her "merisik" ring which was a gift from PU Riz's family.
However, earlier this year, Neelofa was seen wearing the aforementioned ring again which signalled that their relationship was still in a good place.
On Nov 1 last year, the family of PU Riz had visited Neelofa's family residence for a "merisik" ceremony which took place in a modest fashion.
It was also reported then that the couple was planning to tie the knot at the end of the month.
