#Showbiz: Fizo Omar put off with anti-vaxxer's claim of microchip in vaccine

KUALA LUMPUR: Actor and entrepreneur Fizo Omar has just proven a Covid-19 vaccines conspiracy theorist or "anti-vaxxer" wrong.

The anonymous conspiracy theorist recently uploaded on social media a brief video of a man attaching a magnet to his newly-vaccinated friend's arm, and in the video he claimed that there were microchips in the vaccines.

Fizo, who was recently vaccinated, posted his own video on Instagram to show Netizens the fallacy of the anti-vaxxer's claim.

He placed a magnet on the part of his arm where he was injected, and it fell off his arm instantly.

"You guys please think logically. How can you say there's a chip in the vaccine to trace us? Use your heads!

"I cannot accept this kind of thing. All of us want to end Covid-19, we don't need these things that can jeopardise our mission," said Fizo in the caption to his video yesterday.

Fizo also said that there had been no side effects from the vaccines after five days since he and his mother received their injections.

He called on Netizens to work together in spreading the truth to anti-vaxxers, especially those who spread or believed in false information regarding the vaccines.

"The government has spent billions of ringgit on vaccines. Our job is to get vaccinated but why are you trying to scare people off ?

"If you think you're right, please prove it!" said Fizo in his video.
