KUALA LUMPUR: Singer and actress Safura Ya'cob yesterday shared the sad news of the passing her daughter, Noor Shafiela.
Taking to Instagram, the 47-year-old artiste uploaded a black and white photo of her daughter with the caption: "Praise be to God, that was my last kiss for you Not. Your remains were as fragrant as musk."
However, Safura did not disclose her daughter's cause of death or her age.
Messages of condolences poured in from her celebrity friends and fans.
Among those who sent comforting words were singers Ezlynn, Wann and actor Riz Amin.
Sharifah Shahirah wrote: "My condolences, Safura. May Allah grant her a special place, among the souls of the righteous."
Safura also has five other children: Nurul Natasha Abdul Rani, Muhammad Daniel Khaqim Mohd Khairi, Yusoff Firdaus, Zara Nur Aisyah, and Ariana Sofia.
Another daughter, Nur Aisyah Mariam, passed away at the age of three in 2008.
