KUALA LUMPUR: To celebrate its 38th anniversary this June, TV3 has come up with a month-long programme lineup for its loyal viewers.
Having caught the attention of Malaysian TV viewers since it was first established on June 1, 1984, TV3 promises to continue to bring bold and quality content with this anniversary campaign, TV3 Sentiasa Bersamamu.
In this spirit of celebration, TV3 has prepared a vast selection of programmes and surprises to commemorate this special month.
Media Prima Television Networks and Primeworks Studios CEO Datuk Khairul Anwar Salleh said: "TV3 has aired for 38 years in our country. As the decades pass by, we are now in the digital era where information and content can easily be obtained at our fingertips.
"It can be said the same for programmes as they too go through phases of innovation and change.
"Following this, the workforce and production crew at TV3 will continue the commitment, ensuring the Malaysian fan favourite TV3 programmes like Buletin Utama, Anugerah Juara Lagu, 999, Majalah 3, Jejak Rasul, Malaysia Hari Ini and Wanita Hari Ini continue to be innovative, and are up to par to our viewers' preferences and expectations," he said in a statement today.
He added: "In this whole month of June, we hope that faithful viewers of TV3 will be delighted with our special lineups of original programmes and telefilms from our nation's very own line of creatives, as well as a selection of blockbuster films in Panggung Sabtu and Magnificent 8 that will bring you the classic Jurassic Park franchise series."
In conjunction with TV3 Sentiasa Bersamamu, the station has exclusively collaborated with illustrator Miriam Omar to create the official look of the celebration, incorporating TV3's programmes and journey throughout the decades.
Miriam's magic touch represents TV3's hit shows as well as iconic monuments that celebrate Malaysia as a country.
