KUALA LUMPUR: Husband and wife singing duos Ernie Zakri and Syamel are in the midst of planning their first concert ever, which is expected to take place by year end.
Ernie, 30, said that the date had yet to be finalised.
"Praise be to God, there are many plans lined up for us by Rocketfuel Entertainment for the remainder of this year and the next, seeing that we've had quite a 'break' due to the pandemic in the last two years.
"We'll begin our promotion for the concert officially next month," said Ernie in a news report yesterday.
She added that among the surprises awaiting concert-goers would be their new song to be performed in public for the first time.
Ernie and Syamel who tied the knot on March 26, last year, have a five-month-old daughter, Nur Khawla Soleha.
