KUALA LUMPUR: National astronaut and TV producer Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor Sheikh Mustapha and his wife Datin Dr Halina Mohd Yunos are expecting their seventh child.
Dr Sheikh Muszaphar, 50, shared the wonderful news in a video he posted on his Instagram today.
Although neither said anything in the video or wrote about it directly, the clip showed his 41-year-old wife whispering some good news into his ears, after which he relayed the "news" in similar fashion to his eldest child, who did the same to the couple's second child, and so on and so forth.
The video ended with an ultrasound image of a baby's heartbeat.
"Whispering the good news. Praise be to God, everyone is excited and hopefully everything will go on smoothly. Amin," Sheikh Muszaphar wrote in the caption.
The couple tied the knot on Oct 10, 2010, and have been blessed with six children between the ages of two and 11 years old including two sets of twins.
