KUALA LUMPUR: Actress and entrepreneur Rozita Che Wan's Instagram account has been suspended since Sept 15 for "failing to observe community standards".
Rozita was informed of the suspension via e-mail and advised to appeal against the decision before March 13 next year, failing which the account will be terminated.
"I have made several appeals to them but have yet to receive a response. I'm worried that I will never get my account back and this will cost me dearly as I conduct business transactions with it," she said yesterday.
She has also notified the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) about the suspension of her Instagram account @rozitachewan1, and hopes that they can help her get it back.
Rozita currently conducts her business activities via TikTok. She has 5.2 million Instagram followers on her suspended account.
Rozita is seeking the help of netizens to retrieve her Instagram account and would be grateful if they could private message her through the Instagram accounts of her husband and children.
