#Showbiz: 'My sons are amazed by the country's technological progress,' says Norazah Aziz

KUALA LUMPUR: Veteran actress Norazah Aziz said her three sons who grew up in Canada were amazed by Malaysia's technological progress.

In fact, they told her that Malaysia did better than Canada in certain aspects of information technology.

"To be honest, Malaysia is very advanced when it comes to information technology. It features prominently in almost all daily transactions, particularly in shopping and paying bills," said Norazah in an interview with Harian Metro Online yesterday.

Norazah admitted that her sons Justin, Ryan and Aaron Daud had a bit of a "culture shock" when her family returned to Malaysia last July.

"That is because Kuala Lumpur is a lot more computerised than Montreal, Canada where we lived for over two decades. In KL today many people scan QR codes to make purchases and orders, even more than in Montreal," she said.

Norazah's businessman husband has been posted to Malaysia to manage his company's regional office.

They will be in Malaysia for five years and she has just resumed her acting career by starring in local dramas.
