KUALA LUMPUR: The special documentary 'Misi: Kembalikan Kuasa Kenyir' produced by TV3 with cooperation from Tenaga Nasional Bhd won the Best Documentary Programme at the 28th Asian Television Awards held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam recently.
In a press statement released yesterday, the programme which was aired on March 13 last year, had been nominated alongside contenders from China's Shanghai Media Group and China Global Television Network, as well as South Korea's SBS and Coupang Play.
This achievement is the show's second international recognition after it won the Bronze Award for Best Factual Programme Made In Asia For A Single Asia Market as announced at the Content Asia Awards 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand last August.
It also became the grand winner for Broadcast Media & Online Video (News & Documentary) at CIDB 2023 Construction Media Awards (Malaysia) 2023.
Its executive producer Irin Putri Azmi also won the award for the Television and Online Video Broadcast Media (News and Documentaries) category at the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Media Awards 2023 last month.
