#Showbiz: Snoop Dogg's daughter suffers stroke at 24

KUALA LUMPUR: Popular hip-hop singer Snoop Dogg's daughter Cori Broadus has suffered a "severe stroke" at the age of 24.

Cori who is also known as CHOC recently shared an Instagram photo of herself lying on a hospital bed and the caption said: "I had a severe stroke this morning. I started breaking down crying when they told me. I'm only 24, what did I do in my past to deserve all of this?"

Cori, who has more than 650,000 followers on Instagram, is also the chief executive of makeup brand Choc Factory Co.

She is one of three children of Snoop, or Calvin Broadus, Jr., and his wife Shante.

The couple also have two sons, 29-year-old Corde and 26-year-old Cordell.

Snoop rose to fame following the success of his debut album Doggystyle in 1993, and has released various hits including Gin And Juice and Drop It Like It's Hot.

He has also starred in films such as 2004's Starsky & Hutch with Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller.
