#Showbiz: Special Mizz Nina appearance in husband Essam's new music video

KUALA LUMPUR: Humanitarian activist and former music artiste Mizz Nina has made a special appearance in a music video to the new song, 'No Love', by her husband Essam Muhammad.

The 44-year-old personality, whose real name is Shazrina Azman, has not been active in mainstream music for the past 10 years.

In the music video, which was released on Wednesday on YouTube, Mizz Nina can be vaguely seen during short segments.

In a recent Instagram post, she said: My husband's latest video 'No Love' has now been uploaded to the YouTube platform.

"Hopefully it can shed some light on the darkness as a result of the violence, oppression and misery endured by innocent people around the world.

"Hopefully the song 'No Love' will be a reflection and give hope. Alhamdulillah, I am grateful to be a part of this song as a model."

The new nasyid-hip hop fusion track focuses on the bitter situation that the Palestinian people are currently going through in Gaza.

Part of the lyrics to the song read: "Many children are dying, but the world is silent. Does your heart feel? Are you numb to violence? Will you turn the other cheek, or would you use your voice to speak?"

Mizz Nina and Essam, who is a rapper from Seattle, United States were married in June last year.

Three months after the announcement was made, the couple held a reception for family and friends from the US, Canada, the United Kingdom and Indonesia.
