KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Sharifah Amani and her husband of two years, Ahmed Faris Amir, are expecting their first child.
The 38-year-old artiste, whose full name is Sharifah Amani Syed Zainal Rashid Al-Yahya, shared the revelation on her Instagram account yesterday.
Captioned with a simple, "Syukur Alhamdulillah", the entry was accompanied by a short video.
Featuring the song, Baby, Baby, by Amy Grant, the video showcased the surprised, tearful, and joyful reactions of her husband, family members, and close friends upon receiving the good news.
Amani could also be seen showing off her 'baby bump' in the clip.
The entry, which has so far garnered over 45,000 likes, also received more than 1,100 comments from many well-wishers, including fellow artistes such as Alif Satar, Nadia Aqilah, and Sazzy Falak.
Amani married Ahmed Faris, who is CEO of Impact Integrated on Sept 10, 2022.
