#Showzbiz: Razzuan pours his heart out on 'difficult love'

ACTOR Razzuan Rosli is also a talented singer. Two years after his well-received debut single 'Akur', produced by Universal Music Malaysia, he has come up with another tune titled 'Cinta Kayangan'.

It carries the message that "love requires lots of sacrifice".

"It is a song with profound lyrics. I am honoured to record this song as it has a deep message as well as a moving tune," said Razzuan in a recent statement.

He said that in 'Cinta Kayangan', he suggested that love was subjective, and people who fall in love might not be meeting "Mr and Ms Right", even if they thought so.

"In many instances, we think that we have met the right person with whom we want to spend our lives. But that is often not the case. In order to find the person whom we truly love, we must always do our homework and get to know the person inside out," said Razzuan.

He said 'Cinta Kayangan' also reminded listeners that love could not be forced, and a lot of time and patience were needed before a relationship could develop.

"Not every meeting is fated, and there is no such thing as a match made in heaven," he said.

In 'Cinta Kayangan', Razzuan "hits the high notes" and pours out his innermost feelings. The song encourages listeners to always follow their hearts and "not hurry love".

"Love is expensive, can be painful and requires lots of sacrifice. This is beautifully shown in the music video which accompanies 'Cinta Kayangan'," said Razzuan.

He said that the music video depicted how a person had to give up things that were dear to him in order to find true love and happiness.

"Sacrifice is not easy, but it is always a must for love to grow. The entire video invites listeners to think deeply about how difficult it is to find love, and to realise that nothing in life comes easy, including true love."

Razzuan hopes that music lovers will embrace 'Cinta Kayangan' as they embraced 'Akur'.

"This is a more powerful song than 'Akur' and I hope listeners will understand the message that it carries," he said, adding that the song was "edutainment" all the way.

'Cinta Kayangan' is available on all major music streaming platforms.
