KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Alif Satar and his band The Locos will be heading to the United Kingdom and France in April for a series of concerts.
"Alif Satar & The Locos (ASTL) will be embarking on a tour to the UK and Paris, France for two weeks beginning on April 20.
"What I can share for now is that we will perform with a legendary artiste in one location.
"Then, ASTL will continue with the concert tour in Singapore," Alif said in a news report today.
The 33-year-old singer added that he was completely committed to the ASTL brand as a formidable musical entity.
"I don't see myself as a solo singer anymore. My progress as a singer will be with The Locos from now on and I will maintain the ASTL brand.
"We will be recording a new song this Ramadan," he said.
Alif, who is also an actor and television host, began his singing career after winning third place in 8TV's first season of the 'One In A Million' singing competition in 2006.
He released three solo studio albums before establishing ASTL in 2018.
Last year, the band was the third-place winner of the 37th Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL 37) competition for their song, 'Anugerah Terindah'.
