#Showbiz: South Korean band CNBLUE returns to Malaysia for first concert in 10 years

KUALA LUMPUR: Fans of South Korean band CNBLUE will finally be able to see the pop-rock trio in action in Malaysia after almost 10 years of waiting.

The group will be rocking the stage at Mega Star Arena, here on Apr 20 as part of its 2024 CNBLUE Live CNBLUENTITY series of concerts.

CNBLUE, which made its South Korean debut in 2010 under FNC Entertainment, comprises of frontman Yonghwa on lead vocals and guitar, drummer Minhyuk and bassist Jungshin.

The band will once again captivate fans in Malaysia with its era-defining hits such as I'm a Loner, I'm Sorry, Love and Can't Stop, among many others, along with brand new material.

Throughout its career, CNBLUE has recorded songs in Korean, Japanese, English and other languages with a discography that spans 11 studio albums, 14 extended plays, 33 singles and three compilation albums.

The band has received numerous awards such as the Golden Disc Awards, Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) and Melon Music Awards.

Music aside, the three members have also taken up acting and have appeared in recent K-dramas.

Yonghwa played the lead in the comedy drama Brain Works (2023), Minhyuk starred in the hit drama Celebrity (2023), while Jungshin played a leading role in the romance comedy Sh**ting Stars (2022).

Tickets to 2024 CNBLUE Live 'CNBLUENTITY' in Kuala Lumpur concert, priced from RM398 to RM798 with limited fan benefits, will go on sale starting on Feb 29 at noon onwards via www.ticketingtix.com.
