KUALA LUMPUR: American singer-songwriter and pop sensation Ailee will be holding her first solo concert at Mega Star Arena, here on June 22.
Based in South Korea, Ailee is adored by her global fans for her empowering, magnetic and engaging stage performances and high-octane vocal prowess.
The singer, whose real name is Amy Lee, is also known as the Queen of OST with over 30 original soundtracks on the music charts to date.
Ailee has won four consecutive Mnet Asian Music Awards for Best Female Vocal Performance from 2013 to 2016, with U&I, Singing Got Better, Mind Your Own Business, and If You, respectively.
Her 2017 single, I Will Go To You Like The First Snow, recorded for the soundtrack of the K-drama Guardian: The Lonely And Great God, won several awards.
It was also the most digitally successful song of the year and became the best-selling record in movies and dramas in the Korean sound record market.
Starting her singer career as a 16-year-old, the K-pop star has since released four studio albums, 26 music videos, six extended plays and 23 singles, six of which charted within the top five of the Gaon Digital Chart.
