#Showbiz Abby Abadi: 'If you need mummy, come back Marissa'

KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Abby Abadi revealed that her second daughter, Marissa Dania Hakim opted to "disappear" after it was believed that she had tied the knot in Songkhla, Thailand last December.

According to Abby, she only met Marissa, 19, for the first time at a Ramadan buffet introduction ceremony at a hotel, recently.

Abby, who was interviewed by Datin Rebecca Nur Al-Islam during a GVV Studio podcast session, added that she was unable to do anything, but believed her daughter was safe and able to live independently.

"She (Marissa) ran away, disappeared," she said of her daughter, who had secretly wedded a married man with two children.

Abby added that she was unable to do anything when faced with the crisis.

"I know Marissa is safe. She thinks he can stand on her own feet. I leave it to Allah.

"I don't think I can do anything to change what Marissa is now. I just hope for the best for her. If you need mummy, come back," she said.
