KUALA LUMPUR: Pop queen Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza kept some 10,000 fans glued to their seats and singing along to her hits at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil tonight.
The concert titled Konsert Sebuah Epitome: Saya Siti Nurhaliza lasted two and a half hours and saw Malaysia's most beloved singer serenade her fans with 25 of her greatest hits.
Among the songs Siti sang with active fan participation were Bukan Cinta Biasa, Cindai, Percayalah, Usah Diragui, Biarlah Rahsia, Basyirah, 7 Nasihat, Purnama Merindu, Oda Di Bumi Anbia and Menjaga Cintamu.
Siti's guest artistes were Judika of Indonesia who sang Dirgahayu and Seluruh Cinta with her, and Syamel Fodzly who joined her in the duet Kalau Berkasih.
The guests at the concert included Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh and singers Jaclyn Victor, Aisha Retno, Ernie Zakri, Hael Husaini and Hafiz Hamidun.
The 8.30pm concert was organised by Siti's humanitarian foundation Yayasan Nurjiwa in aid of the Palestinian people who have been suffering from the latest round of Israeli aggression since October last year.
Proceeds from the concert will be spent on the purchase of foodstuffs and basic necessities for the displaced Palestinians in Gaza Strip.
The concert was also in aid of Siti's Afwa Al-Afiyah School founded by the foundation four years ago in Gaza and which currently has 100 students and 10 teachers.
Siti's last major concert at Axiata Arena was Konsert Siti Nurhaliza On Tour in 2019.
